Leading Families Home has three locations: Beach House Family Shelter at 915 N. Erie St., Beach House Ashland at 2283 Ashland Ave., and Providence Center at 1205 Broadway St. in Toledo. All locations help families achieve independence and economic stability by providing life-changing resources, including mental wellness, education, employment services, and safe, affordable, sustainable housing.

BEACH HOUSE ERIE

915 N. ERIE ST., TOLEDO, OH

Established in 1921, Beach House Erie has served as an emergency shelter for families with children for over 100 years.


Participants come to our shelter through United Way's 211 coordinated entry system.


Beach House is staffed 24/7/365.

BEACH HOUSE ASHLAND
2283 ASHLAND AVE., TOLEDO, OH

Our location at 2283 Ashland Ave. in Toledo was recently opened to create an additional emergency overflow shelter for families facing homelessness in the Toledo, Lucas County area. This location is able to serve up to 75 additional individuals.


Beach House Ashland also serves as the location for employee offices.

PROVIDENCE CENTER

1205 BROADWAY ST., TOLEDO, OH

In 2021, Leading Families Home combined services with the Providence Center to further meet the ongoing, varying needs of individuals in the Toledo community and beyond.


Providence Center offers a multitude of classes such as parent education and human trafficking support.
