NICOLE RUSH

Many people think homelessness could never happen to them. 

Meet Nicole Rush, nine-year active duty Army veteran, who holds two Master's degrees and made six figures before her diagnosis of a severe medical condition that left her unable to work and drained all of her savings.

KENSA, KORRA, & FRANK

Kensa was pregnant and on the streets before she found Leading Families Home. Her husband, Frank, joined her at the Shelter several weeks after she and Korra were accepted into Beach House Erie. They are now permanently housed.

SHERI JACKSON

Sheri fled a domestic abuse situation and found safety at Beach House Family Shelter.

She shares her story - and that of her daughter and grandchildren - and is thankful for her time at our shelter.

KATHY

Miss Kathy was an army veteran who came to Beach House Family Shelter when she could no longer pay her bills.

She faced her challenges head-on and overcame a lot during her time with us.

Sadly, Miss Kathy passed away in 2020. We will always remember her.

Thomas Brown is a veteran who found himself facing homelessness.

Drew Masse is a proud member of our Board of Directors. He is on the Board's event committee and takes an active part in fundraising events.

She is passionate about the mission of Leading Families Home and adamantly supports our organization through donation drives and fundraising events.
