Have you ever wondered how wool is transformed into your favorite sweater or mittens? Artisans from around the region will gather to demonstrate and share their love of traditional fiber arts. Guests will be able to watch spinning, weaving, knitting, crocheting, quilting, rug hooking, embroidery, tatting and lace making demonstrations. There will be hands-on activities, special exhibits, a scavenger hunt and vendors!

Join The Toledo Zoo for Harvest Fest —a fantastic fall festival included with general Zoo admission. It will feature giant pumpkin displays, pumpkin animal displays, seasonal food and beverage offerings and autumn-inspired activities — all among a vibrant display of beautiful fall flora.

HalloWeekends includes the daytime Tricks and Treats Fall Fest, complete with activities perfect for the little ones, plus the Tricks and Treats Food Tasting Tour for those looking for delicious twists on fall eats. At night, Haunt takes over select areas of the park with scare mazes, haunted attractions and the creepy nighttime atmosfear of America’s Spooky Roller Coast!

Want to take your EXPERIENCE to the next level? Add the TOUCH PASS OPTION which allows our Monsters to break the barrier between their world and yours and be able to physically touch you.. We warned them they are not allowed to BITE, KICK, SHAKE, CLAW, PUSH or PULL HARD, SPIT or SEVER any HEADS... they were all very disappointed... but they all agreed to be as good as they could and gave us the Monster Boy Scout sign of HONOR!

The Islamic Center of Greater Toledo holds a festival every year that attracts thousands of people to our Center. Featuring over 22 ethnicities under one tent, the International Festival is one of the most diverse cultural experiences offered in Ohio. Over 100 different styles of food are served, a multi-cultural shopping bazaar and activities for the kids make this a family event. With tours of the center and our multi-cultural exhibit, this is the event to attend to get a first-hand experience of Islam in America.
The International Festival has become an event of great importance in the surrounding community. With widespread recognition since The Islamic Center was declared a Historical Landmark by the State of Ohio, the International Festival has become one of the fastest-growing yearly events in the greater Toledo area. All proceeds from the Festival are utilized for various educational and health-related activities in the greater Toledo area.

The Toledo Symphony returns to the Valentine Theatre for a program featuring TSO Principal Horn Megan Amos performing Strauss’s famous First Horn Concerto. The program opens with Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 1 and closes with Schumann’s Fourth Symphony.
